The second issue of our newsletter highlights local initiatives and inspiring collaborations in Hamilton and London.
Highlights in London include:
- The welcoming Francophone community of London (CFA London) has launched its first call for projects under the Community Fund. An information session allowed community leaders and ethnocultural associations to learn about this new funding opportunity designed to support inclusive local initiatives.
- Collège Boréal has also posted a job offer for bilingual trainers in the early childhood and customer service sectors to support language training focused on in-demand occupations, offered free of charge to French-speaking newcomers. This activity is part of the CFA London community plan.
- The Community Advisory Council (CCC) met for its first retreat, focused on collaboration and collective commitment to the CFA London action plan.
