A new, entirely French-language primary care clinic will soon open its doors in London, thanks to a provincial investment of more than $12 million. The project will be implemented by the Hamilton-Niagara Community Health Center (CSCHN), in collaboration with local partners including Accès Franco-Santé London and the Carrefour communautaire francophone.
The CSCHN also serves as the trustee for the Réseau en immigration francophone du Centre-Sud-Ouest (RIFCSO), the organization that coordinates the CFA Hamilton and London.
According to France Vaillancourt, executive director of the CSCHN, this project addresses a need that the French-speaking community in London has been expressing for several years. The clinic could serve nearly 2,000 French-speaking patients in the region.
