The online directory of licensed child care programs in the City of London or Middlesex County

One HSN (or OneList) is the childcare waiting list for London and Middlesex. It is an online directory to help families find licensed childcare programs in the city of London or Middlesex County.

Each daycare center listed on this site has its own policies and procedures.

Families should contact each program directly to inquire about adding your child to their program's waiting list.

To learn more about the policies and procedures of each specific waiting list and to register your child's name on their waiting lists, we encourage you to contact each program directly.

The Ribambelle

La Ribambelle is a licensed daycare center that provides a play-based learning environment for families from all backgrounds. In addition, they are committed to supporting and instilling a love of French language and culture in children from infancy through preschool age.

Based on the work of more than 170 child and family support agencies, FamilyInfo is a collection of essential parenting and family resources designed to help families thrive, regardless of their stage, background, or situation. It includes public sector, nonprofit, and/or charitable organizations and programs that are licensed, regulated, and funded by various levels of government to serve children and families in the London and Middlesex County area.

The Licensed Child Care Network (LCCN) is a group of licensed child care operators and administrators who work collaboratively with the early childhood community to raise awareness about the importance of licensed child care.

Let's Go Program and Family Centers

The EarlyON/ONyva and Family Centers programs are provincial government initiatives that aim to provide free or low-cost information, programs, and services to all parents and caregivers of children from birth to age six.

In London, many family centers host EarlyON/ONyva programs. In Middlesex, EarlyON programs are offered at a number of county library branches. French-language ONyva programs are offered at family centers and at the ONyva Center of La Ribambelle located at the Academy of La Tamise and La Ribambelle Ridgewood. Primary and secondary education

In Ontario, the public school system includes Catholic schools and secular schools.

In the London area, French-language schools are administered by the Providence (Catholic) and Viamonde (secular) school boards.

Before and after school program

L’Escale is a before- and after-school program run by the Carrefour Communautaire Francophone de London.

The program includes sports activities, interactive games, healthy snacks, cultural activities, art projects, leadership games, and wellness activities. In particular, it offers school-aged children (grades 1 through 6) the opportunity to spend half an hour working on their homework under the supervision of an educator.

L’Escale offers a program for children aged 4 to 12.

The centers are open Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. in the morning and from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the afternoon, depending on their location.

L’Escale is available in French-language elementary schools in London (Viamonde + Providence), which are: Ste-Jeanne d’Arc, Frère André, La Tamise, Marie-Curie, La Pommeraie, and St Jean de Brébeuf.

L’Escale is one of the approved childcare programs and services listed in the OneHSN directory. You must register on OneHSN before registering with L’Escale.

Summer camps, spring break, teacher training day

The CCFL also organizes several activities for young people, such as summer camps and activities during spring break or pedagogical days.

Mentoring program (youth)

The CCFL mentoring program aims to bring young people together twice a week in a dynamic setting. It offers homework support, sports activities, and community connection workshops.

To facilitate participation, the CCFL even provides transportation: pick-up at school and transportation to the CCFL.

The immersion program

In London, two public school boards—the London District Catholic School Board and the Thames Valley District School Board – offer French immersion programs. The Catholic board offers immersion starting in Senior Kindergarten, while the public board offers it starting in Grade 1, with both continuing through Grade 12.

Post-secondary education

Collège Boréal

The Boréal College offers French-language postsecondary education. Students receive technical training that facilitates their access to a bilingual job market. 

If you wish to take the French Language Assessment Test (TEF), Collège Boréal now offers this test.

The Collegiate City

The Department of French Studies Western University in London offers comprehensive training in French language, literature, and culture.
